Description
Trinity Knot ring in your choice of precious metal
This stunning Celtic ring is called a Celtic Triquetra. It is a word derived from the Latin tri- which means “three” and quetrus meaning “cornered”, therefore meaning triangle. In medieval times it was originally used to described three-cornered shapes, but in the world we live in now, it is used to refer to this Celtic silver ring you see before you. This design predates the Latin language and also Christianity – in later years the pattern was used to describe the holy trinity and the design can be seen in ancient Christian manuscripts, such as the Book of Kells in Trinity College
In this handmade design, it represents the infinite cycle of life and is also known as a rune of protection – making this piece of Irish jewellery the perfect gift to mark a milestone, a special occasion or a unique gift for yourself.
